So mine just came in but when I try and connect the midpipe it’s SUPER TIGHT! Wondering what I can do without using an exhaust stretcher. Have some high heat grease. Someone told me use a rubber mallet easily to get it down. Just wondering if there’s any other ideas? Thanks.

It’s saying photos are too big trying from my phone. But it’s bascially where you connect to the slip on to the pipe that has the valve. Then you connect then with the ring.

you can put a little grease on the outside of the header pipe and a little grease on the inside of your new mid pipe then put a 2x4 piece of wood on the outlet side of your mid pipe a gently tap it with a rubber mallet.

Check for burrs or a raised internal weld that is inhibiting you. I used a carbide bit to "clean" my Noriyoshi before it fit properly.
