Hey guys, I just purchased a used 2015 GSX S-750A with 950km on it a week ago and unfortunately it did not come with a manual. I'm just wondering if anybody can tell me what octane rating of fuel it takes as I'm not sure. I live in Alberta, Canada if that matters. Thanks,

For America it’s 87 octane minimum. I know some folks run higher anyway but since I bought my bike new I’ve only run 87 with no issues and I’m pretty much at 10k miles now.

I've got a sticker (in AUS) that states 95 RON minimum - our options are 91,95,98 Speaking with a mechanic, he advised a monthly cycle of 91 to clean out the engine once in a while or something along those lines. Not sure if anyone can attest that statement. In experience: The thing I noticed on idle with lower octane is that idle blips up randomly rather than staying at a constant RPM. Will need to keep an eye to see if I get the same behaviour once I get a new full tank of higher. Again, not sure if this is a bad thing, more just an observation. My bike seems more powerful with higher octane... but that could just be in my head There is a service manual on this site I believe that may be of use.

I always run 98 in mine, although 95 is fine.
I would never, ever run 91 in it. If it doesn't detonate the knock sensors will pull all of the timing out & it would run like crap anyway.
